 NANNIES

We welcome nannies to our Agency with enthusiasm and hope to establish a long term relationship with them. From a nannies point of view you will have most success in securing a great job if you come to us with: an up to date cv, your drivers licence and passport or birth certificate so that we can do a 100 point ID check on you; your first aid certificate;at least three written references that we can then verbally check. We will also need you to complete The Working With Children Check documentation and to make this easy and less time consuming for you we have attached a link below to these forms. Please print them out and fill them in before you come in for a interview and remember it is a policy of Mum's Best Friend that we must personally interview each and every candidate that registers with us.

During your employment as a nanny you may be required to administer medication to children in your care. We have have attached below a permission slip you will need to fill out if you are required to do this during any stage of your employment:

MOTHERS HELP

If you have only a small amount of Child care experience do come and see us because you may be able to start out as a Mothers Help. In this type of position you will work alongside a Mum and take direction from her as well as help with some light household duties. You will still need to come and meet us personally and bring: an up to date CV, your passport  and drivers licence where possible for a 100 point ID check, some written references that we can verbally contact . You will also need to fill out the working With Children Check Background Check Consent Form and Prohibited Employment Declaration (just click on those items as highlighted for nannies above and fill in before you get to us.)

HOUSEKEEPERS

There is a huge demand for permanent and permanent part time housekeepers. If you love to keep a house tidy and well maintained and you also love kids then call one of our consultants immediately as we have jobs for you!! It is preferable that you have a full drivers licence and your own vehicle.

CLEANERS

We have many part time cleaning jobs available and the pay is great. If you are a mum yourself and have a desire to get back into the workforce and do hours that suit around the care of your own children, please call one of our consultants for an immediate interview.

BABYSITTERS

Many of our fabulous nannies also like to babysit in the evenings to get extra pocket money . Just let us know if you would like to do this when you come for an interview. We are looking for babysitters with proven childcare experience, who we can fully reference check. We are busiest on Saturday nights of course and each babysitting booking is for a minimum four hour period. Just call into us at the beginning of each week and let us know your availability and we will call you when a job comes in to suit you. The majority of our babysitting work is for the eastern suburbs, the lower north shore, the northern suburbs and beaches and the inner west.

ELDER CARE

With our aging population we are constantly looking for kind a compassionate carers for the elderly. You need to be 100% reliable and have a very sympathetic nature. We need you to become a companion to our many varied Clients and also do some light housework and errands. It is important for our elder carers to have their own car.

MOTHERCRAFT AND MATERNITY NURSES

Our clients value their sleep and we constantly need well trained mother-craft nurses for our many night time bookings and 24 hour block bookings. If you are a trained Karitane or Tresillian mother craft or you are a maternity nurse from the UK and are looking to fill in your calendar with more bookings please call one of our consultants to talk about our varied assignments and rates of pay. Of course, the same screening guidelines as for nannies (above) will apply to you.

AU PAIRS AND DEMIPAIRS

Calling all travellers with childcare experience. Being a live in au pair while you are in Sydney is the perfect option for you!! You do not need to worry about food or accommodation and you get to live with an Australian family and experience true Aussie family life. We have helped hundreds of Au pairs find fabulous families over the years ans we would love to help you too! Of course we need to meet you and o all of the appropriate checks but there is plenty of work available if you are willing to live in with a family.
